TCORN and more than 20 other nursing organizations throughout Texas comprise the Nursing Legislative Agenda Coalition (NLAC). Led by the Texas Nurses Association, NLAC is a powerful legislative force in Texas. However, we can’t educate your legislators without your help. Legislators need to hear directly from the nurses they represent. We need your help to explain to your legislators why specific legislation has a positive or negative impact on nursing practice and patient safety.

In addition to TCORN’s legislative agenda, we also host an educational seminar each year. We have had many distinguished presenters, including past president Paula Graling and other members of the AORN national board of directors.

Help us this year by joining TCORN and volunteering your support. I am looking forward to an exciting year as your new chair. I am committed to continuing the initiatives of our past chair, Terri Goodman, as well as increasing communication with our members and moving forward with additional initiatives.
