Your eChapter Board and Committee Chairs are pleased to announce that the chapter has made a
commitment of funds to the AORN Foundation that will benefit eChapter members.
At the August 21st Board meeting, it was decided that eChapter will invest in an endowed
scholarship through the AORN Foundation. Scholarship money will be available only to eChapter members.
The AORN Scholarship Committee has revised the Scholarship Application so that international members are
eligible for scholarships.
The eChapter endowed scholarship will be targeted exclusively at eChapter members.
In addition to scholarships for degree programs, the Board is initiating an Educational Grant program
to fund eChapter members purshing other types of professional and continuing education (e.g. RNFA program,
seminars and conferences, etc.
The Awards Committee is designing the program, including criteria for qualifying activities the application process and
