During November we recognize and celebrate Perioperative Nurse Week.
As President Voight expressed in his letter on the AORN website this is the time that we “shine the light” on our profession.
During November eChapter will “shine the light” on our fellow member colleagues for their contributions and achievements toward “Peak of Perioperative Practice”.
Join us in the celebration by sending in your activities for patient safety, quality and collaboration as well as mentoring colleagues new to perioperative nursing. Perhaps you have an article recently published; received a scholarship for further studies; are serving on a National Committee or Task Force; received recognition in your practice setting; completed a degree program; or achieved CNOR status, to name just a few. Let us know how your facilities are observing Perioperative Nurse Week.
