Delegate Corner

Selection criteria in rank order include:
- must be an eChapter member
- preference given to Primary eChapter members
- preference given to candidates who have participated in eChapter activities
- two delegate slots will be designated for first time congress attendees
- two delegate slots will be designated for first time delegates
Candidates must be willing to assume all of the delegate responsibilities listed below including post-Congress website contribution
Note: It is understandable that conflicts can occur; it is essential to negotiate conflicts with the Delegate Chair
Note: Payment of the delegate stipend is predicated on fulfilling all of the delegate commitments,
including the post-Congress contribution to the website
Delegates are expected to continue participating in eChapter activities for the remainder of the year following Congress

	Delegate Responsibilities Click here for AORN's Official Delegate Responsibilities The following activities are required of eChapter delegates: Attend the Candidates' Presentations Attend Forums and House of Delegates sessions Attend the scheduled eChapter meeting Manage the eChapter table for at least one shift VOTE Submit a narrative to the webmaster for the website before the April 15, 2011 deadline (Click here for examples of last year's delegate contributions) Delegate stipend for 2011 is $600.00 Stipend is predicated upon fulfilling all of the delegate requirements.
