As our busy lives are filled with computers, e-mails, and smartphones, online learning is now the wave of the future in pursuing higher education. As the E-Chapter scholarship recipient, I am currently enrolled in the Chamberlain College of Nursing online program pursuing my MSN via the executive track. Online learning allows one to achieve their educational goals in the comfort of their home or anywhere that there is access to the internet. The online curriculum allows the student to maintain their current employment status while incorporating daily work experiences into the courses they are studying. This is a win-win situation for both the student and the organization because you start implementing what you learn right away.
Upon completion of the program, I plan to work in a management position in the perioperative setting and get involved with AORN at the leadership level.
I would like to thank the E-Chapter for allowing me to achieve my goals and I would encourage you to consider this option if you are interested in achieving higher education in nursing.
